In July Geoffrey Starmer, as a representative of NIAG, was invited along with representatives of railway and inland waterways interests, to a meeting arranged by the Planning Department of Northampton Borough Council to discuss proposals for this conservation area. The following article provides comments on the proposals as well as historical supporting evidence.
