Abstract/Summary

A programme of archaeological observation, recording and investigation was undertaken during works to install a new storm water tank at the Thames Water Works, Blacksmith Lane, Aston le Walls, Northamptonshire. The archaeological works were undertaken in September and October 2022. No archaeological features or deposits were present in the observed areas, although the relative levels on the top of the natural geology indicate that there had been considerable truncation within the northern part of the site. The previous Thames Water installations were also noted to have impacted on the site.
