| Title | GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY REPORT: Peas Furlong, Culworth |
| Author/Originator | Thomas Cockcroft |
| Date/Year | 2024 |
Abstract/Summary
A magnetometer survey of one hectare of land at Peas Furlong, Culworth has recorded numerous magnetic responses that have been interpreted as being of archaeological interest. Ditch-like responses, pits and trends are visible in the survey, some of which may form enclosures, associated features and landscape divisions. Responses of uncertain origin could also be of interest; however, they may have agricultural or natural origins. Ridge and furrow cultivation has been plotted in the survey along with a system of land drains.
