Abstract/Summary
This report details the results of a Level 2 historic building survey carried out by University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) at Crabtree Lodge, 6 The Green, Weston by Welland, Northamptonshire. The work was undertaken on the 4th of June 2025 on behalf of Amy Holmes in advance of the conversion of an external store building to a domestic use. The surveyed building consists of a two‐storey brick‐built store of late 19th century origin with later 20th century modifications which falls within the curtilage of the Grade II listed Crabtree Lodge. The building is likely to have been built as a stable and hayloft but was later converted into a garage. The planning permission also allows for the demolition of a 20th century piggery and a modern building which were not required to be recorded. The digital archive will be deposited with the Archaeological Data Service (ADS), under the accession number Event number ENN111821.
