Abstract/Summary
A structural survey of the dovecote was commissioned from Paul Reading and Partners, structural engineers, in January 1993. As part of the survey, Paul Reading arranged for two test pits to be excavted adjacent to the wall on 24th February. Both test pits were inspected by the Archaeology unit's Field Officer prior to backfilling.
