Abstract/Summary

An initial study of the proposed development area suggests that there may be partial survival of archaeological deposits beneath the former Barclaycard building. Greater survival of archaeological remains may be anticipated in the area of the proposed car park, but as only limited groundworks are envisaged, these deposits are likely to be unaffected by the development.
