Abstract/Summary

Excavations on the site of the old bus station Derngate were undertaken in 1980 by Northampton Dvelopment Corporation's Archaeological Unit in advance of its development as a leisure centre. The purpose of the investigations was to establish the date and nature of post Roman occupation in the Derngate area.
