Abstract/Summary

RPS Clouston have been commissioned by Northampton Borough Council in conjunction with Northamptonshire Heritage and English Heritage to carry out a Conditions Survey on the Iron Age hillfort of Hunsbury Hill Camp, Northampton. The hillfort consists of a near circular earthwork with inner rampart, ditch and outer rampart. Entrances through the earthwork on the north-west, north and south-west sides provide access to the interior.
