Abstract/Summary

An archaeological evaluation was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology on May 9th 1994 on land within the grounds of Hill House, Stanwick. Sample excavation has revealed a lack of settlement activity along the western part of Grange Road, thus corroborating the current interpretation of the origin and development of the modern village
