Description

A building survey was carried out in July 2001 for the Estates Department of Northampton General Hospital on the former chapel (SP 770 604). The chapel, which is due for demolition, is a curtilage structure to the grade II listed hospital buildings. The survey consisted of a description, photographic survey, and measured plan and elevation drawings, to level three of the RCHME specifications. The archive will be deposited with the Northamptonshire Sites and Monuments Record. [NGR in text incorrect- located at St Andrew's Hospital rather than the General]
