Description

{1} An archaeological evaluation was undertaken at Danesfield Farm in December 2000. The evaluation formed the first stage of a programme of archaeological works proceeding and during development. Two trenches were opened on the east side of the site and were targeted on the footprints of two new houses. A single archaeological feature containing two sherds of medieval pottery and a sherd of Roman pottery as found in one of the trial trenches.
