Description

{2} Hand-excavation, by the building contractors, of three soakaways and associated drain trenches was monitored. No in situ (pre-modern) archaeological remains were observed, and most of the excavation areas had been disturbed by grave-digging, and in one instance by previous drainage works. Apart from residual finds no pre modern archaeological features were encountered.
