Description

The work consisted of detailed earth resistance and gradiometer survey. A long sinuous feature was identified. The feature may be archaeological in origin, although a footpath crosses the site at this point. Four trenches were subsequently excavated; two pits or postholes were found in Trench 3, one of which produced a single sherd of pottery.
