{1} The resitivity survey showed a number of building footprints, particularly to the east of the path to the church. These may be associated with buildings depicted in this area on a mpa of 1608. The magnetometry survey clearly revealed evidece of the Iron Age hillfort, surrounded by a broad bank and ditch (the latter at least 6m wide). Within were at least 15 roundhouses.
