Description

{1} Northamptonshire Archaeology carried out an archaeological watching brief during the excavation of a trench for a new gas pipeline along the Towcester Watling Street (A5) from 58 Watling Street in the south to Northampton Road in the north. No pre-C19th features were encountered anywhere along the length of the pipeline.
