Full Description

{1} The section of trench outside The Saracen’s Head Hotel revealed a possible brick drain in the base of the trench. This comprised a slightly curving line of 16 flat-laid unbonded reddish-brown bricks, aligned north to south. The drain may have a connection to the adjacent hotel, however further analysis was not possible.
