Description

Northamptonshire Archaeology, commissioned by Ashfield Land Developments Ltd, carried out a desk-based assessment on 31.66ha of land at Brackley Grange, Brackley, Northamptonshire. (A site visit was undertaken on 15th August.) There are no archaeological sites within the study area, although a few stray finds have been recovered in these and surrounding fields by previous fieldwalking. Cropmarks in the surrounding area indicate a general later prehistoric presence, probably from the Iron Age into the Romano-British period.
