Description

{1} The machined ground works proved to be very shallow and did not affect archaeological remains. In the main the plough soil was not penetrated though in a few very small areas the subsoil was exposed. The odd sherd of Roman pottery, worked flint and several post medieval pottery sherds were exposed on the surface but were left in situ.
