Full Description

{1} Quantities of Roman pottery indicated a distinct concentration in the eastern half of the field. The assemblage comprised locally produced kitchen and table wares from the Nene Valley with a date range of late first to third century. Very few forms were identifiable because the assemblage was so fragmented.

{2} The odd sherd of Roman pottery, worked flint and several post medieval pottery sherds were exposed on the surface but were left in situ.
