Description

{1} A desktop assessment supported by a programme of fieldwalking and geophysical prospection was carried out on land south of Iron Age and Romano-British settlement. Evidence from the Early-Middle Saxon period is limited to a small quantity of contemporary pottery, and all later activity can be seen as agricultural.
