Description

Archaeological monitoring of development groundworks. Stone foundations were identified on the two south frontage plots, buildings probably both of 18th-19th century date. Stray finds recovered from during the work additionally indicate some activity potentially on-site from probably the 12th century onwards, but with the majority of the material being late 17th-early 18th century date.
