Description

Detailed magnetic gradiometer survey was undertaken for Lark Energy Ltd in connection with proposed development on land at Hanslope Road, Hartwell, Northamtonshire. The survey totalled c.12ha in four separate blocks (Areas A-D). The Survey recorded anomalies which may represent two enclosures, a possible trackway and a linear feature in Area C. The other three areas recorded removed field boundaries, and a number of furrows. Across the four areas a number of pit type anomalies were also recorded, though these were dispersed and the interpretation is uncertain.
