Full Description
{1} Suggests that the enclosures picked up in the geophysical survey were not verified by the trial trenching and therefore may represent a ditched track or droveway (with note re. coincidence of the supposed adjacent Romano-British road).
{2} Examples of discrete positive anomalies were recorded in all areas and possibly represent pit features. However, these are somewhat isolated and the responses are not strong, and these are difficult to interpret on form alone.
