HER note 11/06/2014: Very rapid survey;survey completed; visibility mapped; archaeology mapped; historical mapping; needs checking. Data from NRHE: Part of Ancient Woodland Project: Woodland compartments systematically searched for sites & earthworks. (Specific findings from Hazelborough Wood (Main) not at present known to Excavation Index.) Forestry Commission sources suggest that this element of the investigation extended into Buckinghamshire. Supplementary information from Mr P Malcolm, Forestry Commission. (E-mail 6. 8. 04.).
