Description

The work was carried out in two stages in April and May 1992 by the Contracts Section of the Northamptonshire County Council Archaeology Unit on behalf of the landowner. The first stage of the evaluation comprised geophysical survey and the plotting of the earthworks. A trial trenching programme was prepared subsequently in consultation with the county archaeological curator.
