Description

{1} Pottery was quickly collected during the construction of a house extension. Remains of kilns were evident, but could not be excavated. {3} Significant finds collected during the construction of a new garage at 8 Corby Road exposed an abandonned pottery kiln. Some to J Hadman that eventually Burl Bellamy published. Called at house to ask for a sample and given the sherds in the archive. All jugs, two handles with small circular holes stabbed. 14th century? 17 pieces in all
