Description
{1} Two evaluation trenches were excavated exposing two stony deposits interpreted as building demolition activity. The finds comprised late medieval pottery and ceramic building material, including a glazed triangular ‘infill’ floor tile typical of the late medieval period. The demolition deposits indicate the presence of earlier building either on the site itself or in close proximity to it.
