Description
{1} During June 2015, KDK undertook a strip, map and sample excavation in advance of the construction of a 2-storey extension on the footprint of an earlier single-storey extension to the rear of the building. It was found that the previous extension had involved ground reduction across the site to a depth of c.1.3m below ground level. Any archaeological remains located within this area would have been removed during this earlier ground reduction, and consequently no archaeological finds or features now survive within the proposed development area.
