Description

{1} The second phase of trial trench evaluation of land at Moulton Heights in advance of proposed residential development. Fifty-five trenches were excavated, targeted on known cropmarks and geophysical anomalies. Archaeological features, largely comprising ditches and pits, were identified in thirty-four of the trenches. A small assemblage of Prehistoric and Roman pottery was found.
