Description

{1} Prior to the construction of a row of three terrace houses three test-pits were han-dug one of which contained a thin, dark organic layer. A second visit was undertaken during the excavation of the footings which revealed a probable pit containing similar dark and organic matter as recorded in the test-pit. No other features or finds were present.
