Description
{1} Excavation of a dense area of archaeological remains to the west of Nortoft Lane. This excavation had restricted aims, but showed the site to be largely middle iron Age in date with a few earlier features including middle Bronze Age cremations. {3} Five areas within the development area, comprising 3.7ha in total, were subject to a programme of strip, map and record.
