Description
Trial trench evaluation of 29 trenches to target geophysical anomalies. {2} Features mostly comprised ditches and pits, with some material suggesting these features predominantly dated to the earlier part of the late iron Age. Additional features tentatively identified included two possible cremations and an inhumation burial. Later features included medieval features dating to AD 1100-1400, post-medieval features in two trenches and remnants of ridge and furrow.
