Description
{1} Geophysical survey was conducted over seven fields, totalling 11.2ha. All the fields were under short pasture. An eighth field could not be surveyed due to the presence of horses. In the western two fields several enclosures along with pits, ditches and internal divisions were identified. Several circular features could indicate barrows or roundhouses. In the eastern area, around Culworth Mill, watercourses associated with the functioning of the mill as well as the original entrance road were detected.
