Description
{1} Metal detecting undertaken during development of the area discovered a significant assemblage of Roman material, which was collected and given to C Woodfield. The assemblage contained around a dozen kiln plate pieces and a stacking ring indicating the presence of a nearby kiln. A later site visit by C Woodfield found that the site had already been laid to tarmac.
