Description

Archaeological features were encountered within all the 25 excavated areas. The archaeological remains consisted of enclosure ditches, ring ditches, droveways, cultivation features and field boundaries. Other features comprised pits that formed two pit alignments, pit clusters, waterholes and waste pits. A smaller number of postholes, possible kilns were located on the periphery of higher density activity with very low numbers of other feature types, though a partial infant burial was also identified.
