Description

Two trenches were undertaken in the trial trench. These found evidence of ridge and furrow ploughing was present in both trenches. This implies that this site was within the open fields from the medieval or later periods. Evidence of the 19th century buildings were found in the form of a brick pathway, roof tile and fragments.
