Description

{1} Nine trenches were excavated. Archaeological remains comprising ditches, pits, a gully, a posthole and a cremation deposit were identified in four of the trenches. Four of the pits had limestone lined bases.All dateable features were late Iron Age with the single exception of the cremation dating to the Roman period. [Archived under ENN109593]
