Description
[1} Geophysical survey of 7.6ha of farmland to inform future planning application for a new car park area and extension to the factory. The geophysical survey has identified a number of features of archaeological interest, with at least three ring ditches seen in the results, although there may be more. These features may represent Iron Age settlement activity within the field, and potentially relate to a long positive linear feature aligned roughly west-northwest to east-southeast immediately to the north. This long linear feature may represent a former boundary or enclosure feature, although its meandering nature may suggest it was originally a natural feature which had later been maintained or reused for a different function.
