Description

The fieldwork was carried out in April, November and December 2022. The watching brief was undertaken during ground works for new dwellings and the foundation trench of a new boundary wall at The Elms, 1 Millway, Duston. The results found a medieval ditch containing 10th to 14th century pottery. The work also revealed several post-medieval features associated with the former garden and orchard at The Elms.
