Description
In total eight trial pits were excavated across the site encountering mostly modern deposits related to the car showroom building and forecourt. Two Trial pits encountered features, a linear beam slot and a small circular pit. Six trial Pits also uncovered a Pleistocene glaciolacustrine deposit or possibly a Holocene alluvium.
