Description

Pre-Construct Archaeology was commissioned by TFT to undertake an archaeological excavation on land to the west of the Rushden Lakes Shopping complex, Northamptonshire. The excavation revealed little evidence of archaeological activity. A partially ploughed out field system with associated boundaries that was aligned northeast to southwest was found. Little artefactual material was recovered but the few found dates the activity from the Iron Age to the Roman period.
