Description

In June 2023, archaeological monitoring, investigation and recording was carried out by Souterrain during the excavation of a drainage pipe trench. This work too place prior to the conversion of a late 19th stable house range to a domestic annexe. Following the conversion, further observations were made during groundwork for the re-surfacing of the yard in 2024. Investigation revealed an old ground surface which was last extant in the 19th century.
