Description

{1}The geophysical survey consisted of a detailed magnetometer survey supplemented by a magnetic susceptibility scan. Conditions at the site were favourable for the magnetic detection of archaeological features and possible ditches were detected at the east of the field which may be outlying traces of enclosures recorded to the east of the survey area. The survey also identified a small number of suggested silted pits near to the eastern site boundary, but there was no evidence for any concentration of findings in this area, or that archaeological features (other than cultivation effects) were present across the remainder of the survey.
