Description

The survey revealed many features that are likely to be represent Iron Age and medieval activity. Anomalies were found that could potentially be settlements with enclosure ditches and rectangular enclosures. There were also several circular features which likely represents Iron Age roundhouse. There was a circular feature potentially representing an earlier Bronze Age barrow as well as possible pits or former quarrying activity. Various rows of linear anomalies could be attrributed to ridge and furrow cultivation.
