Description
ULAS carried out an archaeological evaluation at Toft Hill, 19 Rugby Road, Barby. The work was undertaken in advance of four dwellings and vehicular access improvements. A total of five evaluation trenches, each measuring approximately 20m in length, were excavated across the site within the proposed building footprints. The archaeological investigation revealed the presence of a series of post‐medieval features including a ditch and a structural feature interpreted as either a wall or drain as well as building foundations
