Description

The investigation consisted of two excavation areas that were 800m apart and four trial trenches. One area (C31050) found evidence of a Roman settlement and limited evidence for prehistoric and Iron Age activity. A broader range of Roman features were uncovered at the second area (C31042), including two inhumation burias with grave goods.
