Description

An archaeological topographical survey along the course of a proposed new foul drainage pipeline through Fawlsey Park. The survey is between NGRs 456628, 256564 and 456789, 256131 and between 450267, 256728 and 456556, 256674. The survey created an accurate record of earthworks that may be altered during construction and identified a possible drainage feature, a slight hollow-way, the post-medieval dam earthwork and well-preserved ridge and furrow remains within the former open-field system.
