Description

Geophysical survey, covering 7.6ha of land, detected an expanse of enclosures and trackways forming part of an extensive Roman settlement. No buildings were detected, but given the character of the remains and the previously recorded archaeological finds, it is virtually certain they comprise part of a long-lived Roman settlement.
