Description
{1, 2} Sherds of pottery from a '17th-century cellar' from the GPO site (Derngate) found 1956. Reference to a well 3'6" in diameter and 20' below present ground surface. Also 13th/14th pot with a baluster jug. [On rear of card: digging a stanchion base for foundations to extension of NGPO. Well 3'6" diameter nearly 20' below present ground surface, 13th/14th century pottery including 14th century baluster jug (photo)]
