Abstract/Summary

The newspaper was the result of a merger in 1931 between the Northampton Daily Chronicle and Evening Herald (founded 1880) and the Daily Echo (founded 1885 and retitled in 1908 as the Northampton Daily Echo). Daily printing ceased in 2012.
